Originaly from Chile, South America. Then moved to Australia in the early 80s' In Chile was a member of the following groups: - Generacion Raices - Kamara RAICES was a well known group of artists that gave birth to 3 well positioned musicians: Jose Luis Sepulveda: Today a recognised Canto Nuevo Artist living outside Latin America. Iris Rojas: Winner of several singing competitions of Folk art in Chile. Extra singer for the Folk Rock group Sol y Media Noche.

Jose Luis Sepulveda started his solo career in Chile, he worked compiling folk music from the most remotes parts of Chile, work that was sponsored by the Council of Puchuncavi - Chile. In Australia he created the Musical Latin American Workshops sponsored by Centro Cultural Pablo Neruda and Later by Taller Alerce. He recorded several albums.
Most of the work of Jose Luis Sepulveda is done through Human Right organisations. There are currently no new albums from the artist.
